Newbridge Silverware was originally established in 1934 as Newbridge Cutlery, at the time they produced silver plated cutlery for the Irish Market. They quickly became renowned for the quality craftsman ship and design ethos.
The 1990s were the turning point for the company when they introduced a line of silver jewelry designed by Irish artists. Newbridge became recognised for its remarkable line of jewelry, accessories, gifts, and kitchenware that took a modern twist on the traditional Irish designs.
Newbridge Silverware has gone on to sponsor The Rose of Tralee which inspired many of their jewelry designs such as The Rose of Tralee Pendant. In 2003, Newbridge received the exclusive honour to design and manufacture the Special Olympics torch.
In 2010 Newbridge Silverware released their Princess Grace Jewelry Collection. Grace Kelly had strong roots in Ireland with her father coming from the townland of Drimurla near Newport, County Mayo. This exclusive collection includes the Vintage Grace Kelly Pearl Earrings and the Pearl Bracelet.
