Are you on the hunt for an awesome gift for someone who lives and breathes all things Ireland? Maybe you have a cousin who did a tour of the Wild Atlantic Way or an Irish another half who’s feeling nostalgic for home.
Or maybe you just want to treat yourself or a loved one to an authentic piece of Ireland. Whatever your reason, we’ve pulled together a list of 10 gorgeous Celtic gifts that any Ireland-aficionado will love.
1. Hooded Irish Aran Zipper Coat
The Hooded Irish Aran Zipper Coat is one of our most popular products: you’ll see it out and about on adventures around the US and on vacation in Ireland. Beautifully crafted from merino wool, the coat adds comfort and softness to any outfit, while still being toast enough to brave the tempestuous Irish weather.
Available in deep green, navy, charcoal grey, cream, or beige, it pairs well with jeans and boots for a classic, comfortable outfit. Crafted in Westport, County Mayo, it doesn’t get much more Irish than that!
2. Mullingar Pewter Antique Irish Jewelry Box
Looking for a gift for someone who loves jewelry? Maybe she already owns an armful of bracelets and she’s got more necklaces than you can keep track of. Instead of splurging on jewelry, why not get her a jewelry box she’ll cherish?
The Mullingar Pewter jewelry box is a stunning take on an old favourite, with an intricate design that details the Celtic knot and the Claddagh, two timeless symbols of Ireland.
3. Ogham Personalized Name Plaque
Bring a piece of Irish art to a loved one with an Ogham Personalized Name Plaque. Ogham is the ancient script of Ireland and has been carved into rocks for millennia. Many of these standing stones are still upright around the coast of Ireland, and tell stories of ancient history.
Each personalized plaque is hand painted by artist Ethel Kelly in her workshop in Knockcroghery, County Roscommon.
In lieu of rendering a name, you could go for a heartfelt word instead, maybe something like ‘heart’, or ‘love’ or ‘friendship’.
4. Galway Crystal Hanging Ornament
Decorate your tree in Celtic style with this set of six Christmas ornaments, including a snowflake, snowman, and tree. Gorgeous!
5. Belleek Set of 2 Personalized Name Mugs
Looking for the perfect Celtic gift for a loved-up pair of friends or relatives? This Belleek Set of 2 Personalized Mugs will capture their names in a graceful green font alongside a delicate lucky shamrock.
6. Men’s V-Neck One Button Sweater
Aran sweaters were originally created by women in communities in the West of Ireland for their fishermen other halves who needed tough material to face the often volatile Atlantic conditions.
The Men’s V-Neck One Button Sweater is a modern twist on the Irish sweater of old, combining the cable stitch with a chunky sweater wrap and shawl collar for maximum heat retention. Toasty!
7. Irish Merino Wool Aran Baby Blanket
Commemorate any recent arrivals with a special Aran Baby Blanket. The cuddliness is bound to appeal to Mom and baby alike!
Crafted in the heart of the West of Ireland, the blanket is the perfect Irish welcome or Christening gift.
8. Irish Aran Honeycomb Throw
Perhaps it’s the time of year and the ever-colder weather, but we’re drawn to gifts that bring a sense of cosiness into our lives. And nothing says cosy quite like this Irish Aran Honeycomb Throw.
Crafted with traditional Aran wool, the honeycomb stitch was created as a callback to the honeybee and brings good luck and fortune. What more could you want for a cuddle in front of the fireplace on a cold evening?
9. Inis Cologne
Looking for something different for the fragrance connoisseur in your family? Inis Cologne has been on the market for 10 years and remains a bestseller among the Irish diaspora.
Inspired by the energy of the sea, the cologne has a luxurious scent of citrus, lily of the valley, sandalwood, and oakmoss. A quick dab on the neck and wrist and he’ll spend the day smelling like he’s just been for a lazy walk along a beach in Galway. Heavenly!
10. Galway Crystal Kells Decanter & Glasses Gift Set
Stuck for a gift for your dad or older brother? Socks or a navy tee might be your go-to, but why go with tradition when you could spoil him with a stunning Irish crystal decanter and glasses set?
Pair it with a good bottle of Jameson or a warm bourbon and you’re all set!
