Taking its name from one of County Donegal's most breathtaking beaches on the Atlantic coast, The Ardara Donegal Aran sweater is a tribute to the classic cable stitch. The cable stitch is the signature stitch on all Aran sweaters and was thought to symbolize the Aran Islander fisherman's ropes.
Here we have a striking oversized cable in the main body trimmed with finer cable stitch patterns at the sides and neck. The design is gently flared at the bottom, creating a flattering line at the hips.
