The Irish design legend that is Belleek began life In 1857 on the banks of Lough Erne in County Fermanagh.
It all began when John Caldwell Bloomfield inherited his father’s estate in Belleek, Co Fermanagh and set out to employ the local community who had been affected by the Irish Famine.
He discovered that the land was rich in minerals, suitable for pottery production. The rest is history.
