Shannonbridge Pottery is a family run business ran by Charles Hoysted and his son Karl. It is situated in the picturesque village of Shannonbridge on the River Shannon in Co. Offaly.
The family run business specialise in unique pieces of Irish pottery. By working with different genre artists they create a varied collection of pottery that will suit different levels of customers, from contemporary styles, to quirky, to farmyard.
Tea-drinkers will love the Shannonbridge Shamrock Hatbox Tea-set, recently purchased by President Obama on his state visit to Ireland. Or the Shannonbridge Irish Hatbox Tea-set with the design featuring Irish ‘cupla focal’ – a few Irish words - such as ‘cupán tae’ (cup of tea) and ‘bainne’ (milk).
