Hi Everyone. I hope you had a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day and thank you so much for all your lovely comments. It’s always so good to hear from you. This week I’m highlighting some of our Aran sweaters styles for spring. It’s so nice to see sunnier days here in Ireland although a keep warm layer is still needed for those daily walks! I’ve selected some of my favorite knits for her in gorgeous colors for the season. Enjoy.
Aran Knits for Spring
1. Kilkenny Hooded Cardigan
First up we have this stunning Aran zipper in classic cream. The stunning stitch patterns feature the classic honeycomb stitch as the main design – traditionally included in Aran knitting to wish the wearer good fortune. The side zipper fastening gives a distinctly modern twist. Beautifully crafted from super-soft merino.
2. Sheelin Cable Sweater
Next up it’s our Sheelin cable sweater and this stunning orange shade is just irresistible. Featuring bold cable stitching, a statement ribbed crew neck and crafted from super soft merino wool.
3. One Button Aran Cardigan
At number three we have another 5 star customer favorite in vibrant cherry red. Many of the traditional Aran stitches are represented here in an eye catching patchwork design. There’s a relaxed draped collar and it’s beautifully finished with a one button detail.
4. Kilfane Waterfall Cardigan
This stunning cardigan exudes style and elegance. The classic waterfall design is soft and flattering and the simple stitch patterns are exquisitely crafted in beautifully soft merino wool. Featuring a snug hood and 2 cozy side pockets. This gorgeous blue shade pairs perfectly with jeans.
5. Annaghmore Cardigan
Last but not least we have the beautifully crafted Annaghmore Aran cardigan in this stunning dusty pink. It features an over-sized draped collar and a stylish one button fastening which really makes it stand out from the rest. Many of the classic age old Aran stitch patterns can be found here including classic cable, lucky honeycomb and the diamond stitch to wish the wearer health and success.
Thanks for dropping by. See you next time,
Take care of yourselves and each other,
Slán go fóill!
